Mohammad Rahman

Registered Respiratory Therapist
Mohammad Joined Coastal Sleep in March 2021. Since he graduated as a Respiratory Therapist from SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) in 2018, he has been working as a sleep clinician in BC. Mohammad’s professional vision is to improve patients’ quality of life through education and therapy. He loves educating patients while providing sleep therapy and then following up with them to ensure therapies improve their quality of life. His major motivation is patient satisfaction through quality patient care. Before switching to healthcare field, Mohammad worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in the department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Calgary (2013-2014). Before that he earned his MSc from UBC (2006) and PhD from University of Bath, UK (2011). Mohammad has 12 years teaching experience in a reputed university in Bangladesh where he is originally from. In addition to English, Mohammad is fluent in Bangla.
